Children are
especially welcome to the Dental Centre with a parent or guardian who
is a registered pt, with whom we can discuss any treatment method.
Children should visit the dentist regularly, on average once every 6 months.
Children develop at different rates and the teeth come through in a different
order so don't be worried, as your dentist will be able to keep a check on your
child's teeth.
Your dentist will also give you advice on how to prevent tooth decay.
If your child is nervous about going to the dentist, regular visits are essential
in helping your child to get used to the surroundings, noises and smells. If
your child develops a good relationship with their dentist, it is much easier
for the child, parent and dentist if treatment does become necessary later on.
