| A patient may discontinue treatment at any time and Durban Dental Centre will refund any amount paid for treatment that they did not receive. Where laboratory work is involved; i.e. if the patient is in the middle of having a denture or crowns/bridges made, and the work has already been started or completed by the laboratory, a proportion of the fee taken on the preparation appointment will be kept to cover the cost of the laboratory invoice. If a patient is not happy with the work completed by the dentist, all measures will be taken to resolve the problem. Before issuing a refund, we ask patients to attend a review appointment so that the dentist is given the opportunity to put things right. If the patient does not wish to see the treating dentist involved, he/she will be made an appointment with another dentist at the practice where replacement treatment or refunds can be discussed. Refunds will be processed within fifteen days after we receive your request. If you have paid for services not yet provided, that doesn’t involve a laboratory fee, we will either credit your account or refund any monies paid in the same manner as the original payment, cash payments will be refunded by cheque. |
